That's Riiiiight!!! We are expecting our little MegChadd to debut in early December. I think we are slowly starting to get over the "terrified of e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g" stage and are able to be excited and enjoy it a little. Well, let me back up, I'm still miserably sick so there's not a whole lot of enjoying it going on on my end, but in the first few weeks I was literally afraid to cough or breathe too hard. Since I've been worshiping the toliet god everyday for 3 weeks now, I've decided MegChadd is a pretty tough little jellybean coughing probably won't hurt him/her either.
We wanted to be able to surprise our parents so not many people knew we were trying. Only a few friends that have been trying as well that we were able to get moral support and prayers from. There had been many months of discouragement and disappointment, but we tried to always remember that God doesn't work on our timeline and tried to always pray that His will be done. He definitely proved that to us too! We had said from the get-go that if there was any month that we would choose not to have a baby, it would be December; namely because 1/2 our family, including both of us, are Christmas babies. Then there's a little thing called 'Christmas' that already has December wrapped up in busy-ness. Sooo, March rolled around and we weren't trying for or expecting much and, well, here we are! We could care less when the birthday is now, just praying for a healthy baby!! God does have a sense of humor though.
